First, again, how awesome is it that I do a blog about rain and it lands on Sunday? These acts are perfectly aligned... it's crazy. I love that song “Raining On Sunday”.
I love the rain. The problem is the rain in CA does not like me. Whenever it rains here in Cali, I get sick. I think because it’s a cold rain. The rain on the east coast or in the Philippines. When I was a kid in the Philippines I remember we would go out in the rain and take a shower, cause the water was so warm.
I love everything about rain (except the getting sick part and the fact that LA drivers don’t know how to drive in the rain) I love the smell of rain. I love the sound. I love the rainbows after the rain. I love the feeling of rain on my skin. I love standing in the rain and let it fall on my face. I love the look of beads of rain on plants and the cement when it first starts to rain. I love songs about the rain. I’m gonna do something different today and instead of Trivia, you get a special bonus, I’m gonna put my favorite “Rain” themed songs/videos for you to save off and watch on a rainy day. I have all these songs on my computer and was listening to them as I found them on YouTube for you =)

On rainy days, I like to curl up on my couch and watch TV. I like to light candles and turn out the lights. Sometimes I just like to sit and watch the rain come down. I like watching movies with Rain in them. I'm that girl who likes those romantic comedies where you declare your love sopping wet in the rain. Not sure what it is about the rain that makes it so romantic. Maybe it's the fact that you don't care if you're wet or could get sick. Love is worth it.
