If I think about it, I've had a great life! And my life has improved as it has gone on. When I was in High school, I loved it (moving my sophomore year kinda sucked, but I ended up loving living in Stockton). The next phase of my life was college and the things I learned and people I met at UCLA improved and changed my life. This is where I met my homegirl and learned so much about myself that it literally has shaped the course of my life.
After graduating, I got a job and met a really cool group of people on the 3rd floor that I am still friends w/ today. We had such a blast and we so close. Then I decided to go back to school. The B-School friends I made are the bomb. We created such a family and for three years of my life I was entrenched in learning, but also in the lives of my classmates. Don't worry peeps... I'm still working on a reunion.
Right now (even though I'm starting the chapter of my life w/out my father)... I feel my best years are to come. My family is healthy and safe. We're about to go on a 2 week vaca to Europe! My friends are awesome. Kat Brooks and the F2F Family are awesome. Work is awesome (well except for one aspect), but I still love my job and wouldn't change it for anything. In fact, if I won the lottery today... I'd still want to work. Kat tweeted out today "what is your dream job?" My response was.. "I'm already doing it"
In this next phase of my life, I'm gonna focus on building a life. Expanding my family to start one of my own. I know someone's out there for me. I'm on a mission. To find them. To be happy. To love. To live. To start a family. Call me crazy... but I can feel that its right around the corner (or maybe it has already started to happen... hehe)
