Adore The Time You Have On This Earth

Act 163:

It’s never too late… To Love Life

Consider the alternative. Have the time of your life. It’s up to you. You can live flat out. Or you can slowly rust. Be the best you can.” – Patrick Lindsay

Quote in book: “Life is short and time is swift.” ~ Proverb

Seriously, go all Dirty Dancing style and have the time of your life. If I’ve learned anything the last couple of months it’s that life is short. Enjoy it. Love the life you live and live the life you love… I know thats a quote or a song.

I’m getting on a plane in a couple of hours to live life. I’m visiting a friend I met in the Vokle chat boards. My friend is a member of the Kat Pack and a part of the F2F family. We get a long great and I just wished we lived closer. People come in and out of your lives and when they are in your life, you need to take advantage of the time you have with each person, so there are no regrets.

The only reason I bring this up is because, no more am I gonna sit at home and wait for life to happen. No more am I going to let life pass me by. I’m gonna go out and have fun with the people I have fun with. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Out with the negativity and in with the positivity. Right now, I’m enjoying my time with my new friends from F2F. I’m gonna ride the wave until it dies. Right now, they make me happy. Right now, I love my life. If I died today, I’d die a happy woman.

A year ago, that was not true. I was unhappy with my life. I was just going through the motions. I wasn’t really enjoying what life had to offer. I was hanging out with a bunch of energy suckers and it really drained me and my mood. No longer do I hang out with people that I need to make a tremendous effort to hang out with, whether it be to arrange the meeting or if it’s because it takes a lot of my energy while we’re together.

Does this mean I don’t see a lot of people I saw before? Absolutely!!! And there are friends that I miss. I want to reconnect with them. They are busy too. I just need to make more of an effort with them. They are going to be part of my 50 that I mentioned in a previous blog. I’m so happy right now that I want to share that with my friends and family. If you’ve hung out with me over the last 4-5 months, you’ve seen the change in me. My mom and my bro and my homegirl have all said there is a change in me. A change for the better. The biggest difference is that my attitude changed towards my life and my future. I’m not so negative, but I’m happy. Truly truly happy. I love my life right now. Could it be better? Yes, it’s something to strive towards, but right now. I’m having the time of my life. How about you? Do you love ur life? Are you happy?
